Privacy Policy
Your files
Tools marked “on-device” process your files entirely inside your browser using the Canvas, WebAssembly and Web Worker APIs. Those files are never transmitted to us, never written to a server, and never seen by anyone but you. You can verify this by opening your browser's network tab while using a tool, or by disconnecting from the internet — the tool keeps working.
What we do collect
We record anonymous usage events so we know which tools to improve. Each event contains:
- which tool was used, and whether it succeeded or failed
- how long processing took
- a coarse size bucket such as “under 1 MB”
We do not record file names, file contents, exact file sizes, or anything derived from your data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand traffic at a high level — which pages get used, and roughly where visitors come from. It runs independently of the on-device tools above and never sees the files you process.
If you are visiting from the UK, EEA or Switzerland, analytics storage defaults to off until you accept it in the consent dialog described under Advertising below.
Accounts
Tooletto has no account system. Nothing is stored server-side beyond the anonymous usage events above — favourites and recently-used tools live only in your browser (“localStorage”) and are never sent to us.
Advertising
Some pages display ads served by Google AdSense, which may use cookies to personalise them. The ad script is loaded only when an ad slot scrolls into view, and never on pages where no ad is shown.
If you are visiting from the UK, EEA or Switzerland, a consent dialog asks before any personalised advertising cookies are set, using Google's certified consent management platform. You can change your choice at any time via “Privacy Choices” in the footer.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or privacy and takedown requests, can be sent through the contact form.
